The Albany Museum  Education Officer Mrs Nozipho Madinda and Albany Museum staff were attended three heritage day events to the following places Grahamstown Police Station, Department of Sport Recreation Arts & Culture  provincial event at Motherwell stadium and the last one was at Humansdorp at Kouga Cultural Centre.

Those three events were successful. Speeches were given, cultural dances and different kinds of foods that is cultural food were cooked for example umngqusho, isigwamba, ulusu nerostile. Heritage Day is the day that all people celebrate their cultures in different ways.

In the provincial event all the departments were exhibited. The Albany Museum exhibitions were the most attractive exhibition. The artefacts and banners of Albany Museum were different from other stalls. The education officer of Albany Museum was busy explaining the exhibition to the visitors.

I would like to thank the exhibitions officer Mr Paulas Janse, the maintenance officer Mr Heine Kohl for their assistance and the Albany Museum staff as a whole for their cooperation.
